Grant Application Portal for DC Bridge Fund
$35M in COVID aid distributed
In 2020, Washington DC launched the Bridge Fund, a $100 million investment in businesses and workers grappling with the COVID-19 public health emergency in the hospitality, entertainment, and retail sectors.
The District allocated funds across four distinct programs: Restaurant Bridge Fund ($35 million), Hotel Bridge Fund ($30 million), Entertainment Bridge Fund ($20 million), and Retail Bridge Fund ($15 million).
The partnership between Humantiply and LEDC resulted in building and deploying the loan application portal and review process for the Entertainment and Retail Bridge Funds. This solution enabled the LEDC team to rapidly process thousands of applications from small businesses and ultimately disburse $35 million in COVID aid funding.
